Digi-know? Wednesday...

Hey everyone!
HAPPY Wednesday!

Since we are all about SUNSHINE and smiles on the Farm, I thought I'd pass along a few FUN facts and also, give away a FREE DIGI of choice to a lucky winner who comments on this post with their OWN "Digi-know" Fact today :)

How's THAT for FUN???  ;)

Digi know....

*Having 100-200 belly laughs a day is the equivalent of a high impact workout, burning off up to 500 calories.

People who rate in the upper reaches of happiness on psychological tests develop about 50% more antibodies than average in response to illnesses?

*According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, it takes 17 muscles to smile and a whopping 43 to frown!  :) :) :)

*This is my fave of the day:  Although genes and upbringing influence about 50% of the variation in our personal happiness, our circumstances (income and environment) affect only about 10 percent. The remaining 40% is accounted for by our outlook and activities, including our relationships, friendships and jobs, our engagement in the community and our involvement in sports and hobbies.  (that is what I LOVE about our stamping community- STAMPING, ANYONE?  ;)  ;)

THANKS for tuning into our HAPPY little post today!   Don't' forget to leave YOUR fun facts (a digi know? would be good to start out your comment today ;) and we'll draw the random winner for a FREE DIGI of choice TOMORROW!  ;)

Happy Wednesday!
xoxo

A little bit random but something I read and have remembered is The "you are here" arrow on maps is called an ideo locator.
Why you need to name the arrow is a mystery and who knew that piece of information would actually come in handy one day!

Although, this is kind of a silly one, digi-know:

Six Truths in Life

1 . You cannot stick your tongue out and look up at the ceiling at the same time, a physical impossibility due to the tendons within your neck.

2 . All dorks, after reading #1 will try it

3 . And discover #1 is a lie

4 . You are smiling now because you are an dork

5 . You soon will share this with another dork

6 . There is still a stupid smile on your face. I sincerely apologize about this but I too am a dork and needed company. (^_^)

How many times do I have to tell:

EXPLAIN YOUR TERMS!!!

What the **** is a "digi-know"? TGF has fans all over the world, but you don't consider us :K You use terms and don't care to tell what you mean. We can't find "digi-know" in our something-english dictionarys. Seems to be some kind of information in web, but did you look for it or find it by accident, is it suppose to be interesting, fun or anything goes?? Here's something:

Population of Northern America cover only 5% of world population.

This might be very obvious, but it was new to me when I found out only a few years ago! Digi know that baby carrots aren't a kind of carrot? They're just from longer carrots and cut into that shape. I admit, I was disappointed when I heard that! Haha.

oops, sorry! I was trying to edit my comment and accidentally deleted it.

Sinihilkka,

I think there is a misunderstanding here. The term "digi- know" is my own play on words for "did you know?" because I'm giving away a free digi today.Awesome fact about the population of NA only making up 5%...and hey, if you win, I'll be able to email it to you right away and you won't even have to wait for shipping! As for the language barrier, which it sounds as if there might be one, not to worry, but there's no need to be frustrated. We are always here to help and all you have to do is email me in case I don't see your comments here. Thanks! :) :) :)

Well, I am full of useless facts but, when put on the spot, I couldn't think of one...until I looked at my cat, a traditional siamese...I know this is pretty random but, digi know that siamese cats have the "colour point" pattern because of a partial albinism? They have a heat sensitive albinism which basically makes them albino in the warmer parts of their body whereas the extremities show their actual genetic colour...and, their eyes only look blue because of the way light reflects off of them!
