Heart Journaling: Week 3

We have a few people who are not uploading their pages into their specific folders. Please remember you have to upload it into your assigned Heart Journaling class folder to receive proper crediting. Please upload by Thursday noon deadlines to be accounted for. You must upload on time to be credited for. If you upload after the deadline, your page will not be credited for.

Also we have decided if your journal is made in a way where you can only do a page rather than a spread, we will accept that too. We are noticing some people like to do floating sheets, which is totally fine. :)

Several people have asked if we can announce assignments ahead of time for specific reasons, we cannot. HOWEVER, if you really really must know we can inform you the day before it is announced but no sooner.

WEEK 3 - Gratitide

Assignment: Create a spread or a page using the concept of Gratitude, appreciation, and thanks. This could be a spread listing your appreciation for anything/anyone. Use any stamps you want, colors, etc. Not necessary to use any TGF stamps, this is YOUR journal, do what you want cuz you rule that journal!

Tip: Try adding lots of layers on your spread.

Due: Thursday Aug 11th no later than 12:00 pm noon cst. We start marking off assignments by 12:30 pm cst. Late uploads will not be accounted for. If you cannot make the deadline, please upload your assignments early. Please upload your photo into your folder

Inspiration found on the web:

Everyone is doing fabulous so far! It's actually getting tough for me to do WHOLE spread a week. And it's only the 2nd assignment. haha. But nevertheless here is mine and several of your classmates'!

Mine: using stamps, watercolor pencils, and bead gel for the sand

by Jess - love the quote
by Laura Florez - beautiful blue texture

by Margie Cortina - great texture, usage of text elements

by Stacey Yoder - loving the framed pictures

by April Davis - love Anya and the usage of text as birds

Have a fabulous weekend and have a great time working on your Gratitude assignment!

Hi and thanks for the prompts as well as the project - it's making me think as well as motivating me to do something each week.
A query - how do we know if our work has been credited for the week? As far as I know I uploaded my photos in time? Do I just assume that if I have, they have been credited? Thank you.
