Another Halloween Digi Preevie
Greetings friends. I hope today finds you all well. We are still deciding over the fabulous entries for the Guest slots and hopefully will be emailing the four chosen by the end of this week. Also there is no deadline for applying for guest design spots so feel free to send in your entries at any time.
I hope everyone is enjoying our previews for tomorrow's release! And also before it slips my mind, we were finally able to narrow down our Farm King & Queen entries and the crown goes to...... *drum roll please*

I really love the concept of this card. Because you know, being the perfect couple, you really have to 'work' at it. meheehee. Ok Mari, email me at thegreetingfarm@gmail.com for your prize please!
And now for today, I'd like to show you guys the next cutie in the Halloween digis that will be releasing Sept 15th! And don't worry, I have some boy ones up my sleeves as well which I will be showing later. I know we having been showing much new Wild Sprouts lately so I figured this one will make up for it nicely...
Enjoy your Tuesday! Oh and I'm trying to compile a list of possible sentiment/phrases/words for a new word set so if there are specific ones that you'd like to see, please email them to me to consider at thegreetingfarm@gmail.com . I'm looking for words that are creative and words/phrases that you always wanted to use but could never find them in sets.

Today's question is: Would you rather cook or clean?
Being that I'm not the best cook in the world... I'm probably better off cleaning. Although I would rather choose cooking if I could make yummy foods.

You Noah what I've been Thinking About?
Hey hey! It's early in the morning and I'm listening to 'Hey Soul Sister' by Train. Oh drat, that would've been a good lyric contest. Haha. Oh and I hope you guys are checking the Farmers Market to make sure that you haven't missed of those discontinued goodies.
So as most of you know, we are settling into our little house and next to the master bedroom is this super cute room with a pretty little window, totally perfect for my craft room... but alas it will be transformed into bean's room instead. But once bean becomes a teen, I will banish him/her into the basement bedroom and reclaim that room for my own. *evil laugh* Me and mum-in-law have been trying to decide about themes. I originally wanted boat and ducks but wondered if it was too 'boyish'... we are going to try to keep bean's gender a surprise. Ray wanted Noah's Ark theme which I think you can never go with. I mean, a boat with cute animals... must have. And THEN I saw the new My Mind's Eye paper, Alphabet Soup with the animals.... it was like a sign sent from Mt. Sinai! So then I went on a rampage looking for quilts and bedding and found this...
Be sure to drop by tomorrow for exciting must-sees! Now... like hungry lions, bean and I will go scavenge the fridge for food... again. Fridge, freezer, pantry... no place is safe from us.

and the paper below (cute for invites and wall art!)
I think the main bedding colors are neutral enough for either boy or girl and bean will appreciate the bold colors of the animals. What do yall think? Although I think it is kinda sad that babies grow up so fast that this beautiful bedding will be packed away soon enough. Oh well... at least when bean grows up I can say 'see how much I love you, you didn't have to sleep in a shoe box like mama.' ha j/k.Be sure to drop by tomorrow for exciting must-sees! Today's question is: Have you seen or used any new paper that we must know about?
I just got the Echo Park paper... Walk in the Park. Looove it. And Summertime. I think it's called Summertime. Anyway, super cute!

Do di doooo...
Hiya Stampers! Thank you for all the awesome suggestions yesterday! There were a lot of rooting for specific costumes so I will definitely be doing my best to fill them and yes there shall be some Creepers in there as well. Actually you know, there is a very cool set coming out next week that would fill that spot as well. Just keep an eye out for the upcoming previews. :)
Oh and before I forget, remember there is Farmers Market tomorrow morning! hehe. I actually found a stash of old discontinued stuff that I will be putting on there as well so be sure to check it out in case it's a set that you've missed out on. :) Ahhh the things you find when you move...
A very cute card I discovered in the galleria today so I thought I'd share. It is a card by Tanya Tahir. Tanya is awfully good with layers and color coordinating ain't she?
I vow to start making cards again once I get a table. We had to toss the old coffee table since two of the legs were broken and being held together by masking tape. But not just any masking tape... washi tape! haahhaaha. Ok today is actually my day off from packaging stamps so I'm gonna doodle up some Halloween digis for you, my lovely friends. Stay creative!

Farm King & Queen challenge
Hello friends! I hope all yer weekend was a blast. We just got a grill from in-laws as a housewarming gift and fired it up last night. Grilled veggies, mmmmmmm. I feel like a rabbit. Been munching on lettuce and cucumbers like it's going out of fashion. Bean and I have been mostly relaxing this weekend, making xmas card boxes and we even tried to take a relaxing bubble bath which ended up not so relaxing. We have this tub in the master bath that is a jetted tub and it's pretty big, well at least to me since I am smurf-like. Anyway so I pour a regular cap of vanilla bubble bath into the water and it's bubbling nicely and me and Bean get in the tub (sitting, tub reaches top of my shoulders). I'm swishing around a bit, like a free-spirited water sprite and all is well. Then I turn the jets on. OMG, in like 2 seconds the bubbles were grew taller than my head. I'm trying to sit up straight but the pressure from the jets were pushing me in every which way and my smurf legs don't reach the other end of the tub so that I couldn't steady myself in that slippery tub of bubble hell. By this time legs, arms, and bubbles flying everywhere, trying to turn the jets off. Bubbles were still rising, and I mean RISING. FINALLY got the jets off, and I looking like the abominable snowman was able to slither out of the tub. I ended up taking a nice safe predictable shower instead. Next time I try for bubbles I am going in with a life jacket. Yeup so that was my weekend. ha.
On a drier note, I've been eyeing this gorgeous card by Ms Jen Shults for a while and I thought we would have a blast with a Farm King & Queen challenge!
What to do: Just make a card or project featuring a TGF couple! It could be fancy, or casual but we do want to see your couple looking super cute!
Deadline: Friday, Aug. 27th
Prize: The winner will be crowned the following week and get their choice of a free TGF stamp set.
I hope that you will play and we can hardly wait to see all the cute couple cards soon! Have a fab start of the week and I will see you here tomorrow with... dum dum dum... some sneak peeks of what's cooking in the studio.
For family members and then also just a bunch of random ones. hehe.

Ain't it just gooooorgeous! So this is going to be so fun! I just love seen more than one character on a card or project. And also I think we have enough boy and girl stamps so that you can mix and match characters. So if you're ready to get glitzed up, read on ahead for the rules.

Greetings and Guest Designer Call
Hi Everyone! So I've been really slacking on the posts but I'm going to do better and start blogging again. Here's a photo of me and bean at 18.5 weeks. We are both doing well, just moving at a snail's pace though. Bean doesn't seem that big yet but I tell you, I struggle to go up the stairs every day. lol.
First things first. I realize that I do not have much card samples with washi tape on them online and I've had a few customers inquire about samples after they buy the tape. hahaha, I do the same thing. Buy the cute stuff and then find inspiration later. lol. But if you have any cards with washi tape on it, I would love to post some up in the store, blog, etc. Please email them to me at thegreetingfarm@gmail.com with the subject heading: Washi Tape Sample. Thank you!
2nd thing is... more than a handful has requested more Ian stamps and I am guilty of having neglected the little guy for the past few months. Also been getting several requests for a 'regular Ian', which I think means Ian without costume on since I usually have Ian in some kind of garb (sheriff, space, fireman...) so you will be seeing him soon as well.
3rd and most fun is that we are looking for guest designers again. So I am looking for some fresh faces here to guest for us! These will be one month stints and I'm looking to fill the next 4 months or so... so that's 4 farm fresh faces I need to find.
1. Simple! Just email me your blog url, 3 card samples, and why you'd like to guest design for TGF!
2. Email to thegreetingfarm@gmail.com , subject heading: Guest Design Call
That's all you gotta do. Easy right? So send away, Bean and I will wait eagerly as we snack on bags of rice cakes.

Not I says the fly. Although I should soon. I also will be getting a xmas tree this year!!! Yeah!!!! I get to make popcorn balls now!

Digital Images: FYI and a Winner :)
Hey everyone,
Jess here again. Before I get into today's post, congrats to THE BUG :) Love your name, btw :) YOU are the winner of the FREE DIGI contest from Thursday....I LOVE LOVE LOVED reading your comments and am definitely going to have to download some of those fun apps! Thanks and if you ever find a super cool one-definitely email me-would LOVE to hear from my peeps!
The rest of this post I'm afraid, won't be as fun as the above...but I promise we will get BACK to fun w/ our Farm Fresh Friday post today...I LOVED today's colorful challenge.
I am writing to you all today on behalf of Marie and myself to discuss something not-so-pretty and I hate that I have to.
It has come to our attention that digital stamp sharing has increasingly become an issue lately, especially amongst some Challenge Blog and Store Blog DT's. We have (sadly) confirmed that there are some teams and companies out there who are not only sharing Digital Images in a "DT folder" or a "digital download" community group but that also, there have been issues with stamping our RUBBER images and scanning them as digis as well.
Marie and I discussed this issue at length last night and after careful consideration decided to post about it. While we won't mention any names, there are some emails going out today to these groups and we are hopeful that they will do the right thing and put an end to it amicably and responsibly.
We realize that digital images are very easy to share, but also, as you all well know, it is pretty much plastered all over the website and other companies' sites as well that digital downloads are not to be reproduced, shared, or stolen. This is copyright infringement and is to be taken seriously, especially when shared on public groups such as Yahoo and Google groups. It is also very clear that stamping rubber images and copying them for non-personal (meaning you and you alone) use violates our Angel policy.
Marie would love to continue providing digital images to our wonderful and loyal TGF Customers, and we'd also hate to think that because of a few sour grapes, that the whole bunch would have to be affected if we decided to no longer carry them as part of our line. The purpose of this email is to inform you and remind everyone what the rules are so that we can diminish further issues in the future. We are also happy to answer any questions directly-just email me (Jess) and we will be happy to discuss with you.
Digital images are SUPER fun, easy to manipulate in size, and less costly than Rubber images, obviously. We also love that they provide instant gratification to you guys because well, we think you're all pretty nifty :) We hope to be able to continue providing you digital images by TGF, so long as we see a resolve and reduction of these issues.
Thanks for reading this and ugh, we don't like the "ugh". We grow SMILES and BRIGHT DAYS on the Farm and will definitely continue to do so. Thanks for your support of everything we do here at TGF...we do it for you :)
Sending all of you hopeful hugs and smiles,
Jessica and Marie xoxo
