I am BACK, filtering through several hundred emails, editing photos to show you from CHA, and just getting back into the TGF Groove!

Today's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge was issued by our very own Marie!   I'll get to that in just a minute though :)

Hey everyone!

I JUST got home from sunny Cali and just wanted to pop in and let you know that FFF will be posted tomorrow but a bit late.

I am having some issues with my laptop and my Blackberry kicked the bucket (R.I.P. little pink phone :( I will miss you!)  this morning so I have to tend to a few hundred emails and find our samples from the girls, LOL!!!

Getting Digi Release Preview

Hello everyone!

The Greeting Farm is HOPPIN' this week and we have all come down with DIGI-fever!

In addition to an AMAZING rubber release on the 1st AND a surprise coming around Valentine's day, TGF welcomes a few new kids on the block this month...and a few new Critters, too! IMPORTANT CHA RELAY CONTEST UPDATE

Hello friends,

It's Jessica here again stealing someone's computer, heh heh :)

DUE TO A FEW UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, we have decided to END the CHA RELAY CONTEST effective immediately.

ANYONE PLAYING TODAY WILL receive the Prince Ian giveaway, but we are going to post him here on the blog so he will become a free digi.

Unfortunately we didn't expect such an overwhelming turnout, but we were thrilled to see it.   Most of our customers who participate in challenges average out to about 50-60 per week, and we are getting hundreds a day.

Because of the galleries crashing, and comments unfortunately being posted in the wrong place, some of you didnt receive your digis on time and although I apologize for this, I want to send a HUGE thank you to Mercy, Kim and Cindy for doing the VERY BEST they could to get them out to you.  Unfortunately they can't do anything w/ the hundreds of emails they received regarding the site being down, just as we've had very limited access while at CHA unfortunately.

PRINCE IAN will be available for FREE here on the blog later today (*I cannot post him here as I do not have the file with me at CHA, but we are working on getting it posted.)

Hi, guys...this is Mercy. I have spoken to Jessica and Marie, and they are aware that the gallery is down. The server is not equipped to handle the massive amount of uploads that are are being posted. Please continue to upload your cards to other galleries and your blogs, but check back every now and then to see if the TGF Gallery is back up and running.

Please do not email Cindy, Kim, or me if the gallery happens to crash again...we have no control over the server, and we are helpless to do anything. Just go ahead and upload to Splitcoast, Paper Craft Planet, and/or your blog...then leave your comment, card link, and email address at the CORRECT post here at the TGF Blog. We are working very hard to get your images out to you, and we can't do it if you are posting incorrectly. Appears to be up and running?!?

Jessica here again....these two balloons attached to the end of my legs that used to be feet are just about done w/ CHA for the day (LOL!)....BUT, we have some updates.

The TGF site/Galleria appear to be up and running again.

We found out from our hosting service that apparently there was such an influx of uploads and hits to the site that it actually crashed.

We are THRILLED That you guys are all so eager to play and cannot wait to view all the creations!! 

PLEASE keep in mind that if the server crashes again, you can upload an alternate link, but please do try to check the TGF Galleria to make sure it's up and running as we'd prefer to view them in the gallery under the appropriate Challenge category.

Almost time...

My palms are extra clammy today as we are getting last minute things ready to pack the rental. Oh btw, Ray and I will be making the 16-18 hour drive to California Friday morning. Fun...

Going over last minute deets...

In regards to digi previews for the contest, yes, they will be on the blog a minute after midnight cst. So for instance... you'll get the free digi on Sunday and on Monday morning you will see the digi that you will win if you participate. Mercy will be sending out the digis throughout the day as the comments are being turned in. Or after the deadline 6:00pm cst. But you should be getting them by that evening.

I know some things may sound a little confusing but once you see the blog posts, things should explain itself a bit better. =)

Also I do apologize ahead of time for those of you who cannot participate because of work... in my crazy head, for some reason, I imagine all our farm friends stamping happily all day long. So I really do apologize, I didn't even take that into consideration when I thought of this relay. BUT at least everyone gets a free cutie digi on Sunday! And perhaps some of these new digis will find their way into the store at a later date... maybe. =)

Answering some questions and some FYI

Hi friends! Ok, going over yesterday's comments, here are some answers to your question and also some extras that you may want to know about. BTW, did you hear about all that raining in flooding in southern California? I hope that clears up before we reach there. Eck.

• Clues of the digis, this one's for Poydan. YES, you will actually see the digi you will be receiving for the following day if you complete the challenge. For instance, on Monday, we will be posting up the Tuesday digi that you will get if you turn in your project by the deadline: 6:00pm CST
• Speaking of the the deadline... it will be 6:00pm CST everyday. Not 6:01pm CST, or 6:45pm CST. Not EST, or PST, etc. I know that everyone lives everywhere so please make sure you know what the time difference is in the area you are in. 
• Mrsqueenvee/mrs-flopsybunny suggests going to this link to find out the actual CST time: http://wwp.central-standard-time.com/

• Next answer is for Sheng: We will let you know everyday what gallery to upload it to. So no worries about that. We are going to make a folder for each day in the Contest folder. We will tell you exactly where to post your projects. =)
• Posting projects on your blog? If for some reason you absolutely cannot get into the gallery, you may post it on your blog and link it back in the comments section. REMEMBER, MERCY will be checking the links so please make sure they work before sending you the digis.
• Themes - we do not have specific themes for this contest so be creative and show us what you got!
• KJ - I'm sorry but for this specific contest, it has to be actual cards and not digi layout cards. Although that is a good idea for a future challenge! AND no, you do not have to have a blog, as long as you can upload it into the gallery or if you need to use photobucket, make sure to link it in the comments so we can go to it.
• Beckie- time difference between UK GMT and CST... I'm not positively sure... I think it's something like UK is 6 hours ahead or something like that. You might want to double check
• Robin McK - the posts will be at Midnight every night with the following day digi.
• Tanya - Yes you can create whatever you want.
• Sonya - Uploading can be done in the galleria but you will have to register first. Sent you an email regarding that.

CHA Digi Relay Rules!!!

Hmm wonder why I thought today was Monday. Ok so... it's very important that I explain the rules for next week's Digi relay challenge. It's very important that everyone understands how this works. We have a FUN contest planned while we're away at CHA for you guys until we can come back and share all the fun details of our trip!  Til then, we dont' want to leave you hanging, and really appreciate your show of support for TGF as we embark into uncharted (and like, totally HUGE) territory!!!

Starting on SUNDAY, JANUARY 24th....we bring you the "TGF CHA RELAY" Contest in which you can win up to 5 free digis!

TGF CHA RELAY RULES

Here's how it works:

• Beginning on Sunday, January 24th at Midnight CST, we will post a FREE digi for everyone to create with.  EVERYONE will get the digi on Sunday.  You will have until Monday night, Jan. 25th at 6:00pm CST to upload your card to the TGF Galleria. 
  

• Participants MUST leave a comment with their email address after their card/project is uploaded to the TGF Galleria.   Please leave your EMAIL ADDRESS within the blog comment section so that we know to send you the next digi.  DO NOT email TGF or Jessica as we will not be accessing our email very often during CHA, sorry!   Our very own Critter Crew DT member Mercy has graciously offered to help send the digis while we are away.

•  NOW THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - ONLY partcipants who complete their entries by Monday night 6:00pm CST will be eligible for the NEXT FREE DIGI, which will be sent via EMAIL to ALL who participate make the deadline. Make sure your email and link to your creation is in the comment section of the blog.
  

• YOU must meet the deadline every evening to qualify for the next digi the following day. So for instance, if you miss one deadline, you will be disqualified and will not get the following day digi.
  

• ANY participant who completes the Monday relay will move onto Tuesday.  On Monday's blog post, a watermarked version of the next FREE DIGI for TUESDAY will be posted along with rules for anyone who moved onto round two, and they will again have until 6pm CST on TUESDAY to upload to the Galleria, and leave their comment w/ their email address to be eligible for Wednesday's Relay race.
  

• You could get up to FIVE exclusive digis by entering our Relay Race, isn't that exciting?   What's more, there will be a SIXTH exclusive digi given away to everyone who completes ALL FIVE parts of next week's RELAY!

Phew, so what do you guys think? Is it confusing or do you get the jest of it? In summary, everyone will get a free digi on Sunday. Turn your creation in by 6:00pm cst the following day, post in gallery with link and email in the comments section. If you make the deadline, you'll get the next digi. Make card, post link and email by deadline, get next digi, and so forth.

The Relay officially starts on Sunday so you HAVE to start playing when it starts in order to fully participate in the game. You will not be able to come in mid-week and start playing.
