It's Beginning to Look...

alot like Christmas!!! :)))))))) Ok well not really but the stars and planets did align and I was able to start making xmas cards! And before I start showing you the cards I did, here is Bean and me at 26 weeks. I have begun to waddle a bit now going up and down the stairs. I have pleaded with DH to build me a slide or something so I can just slide down but it appears that will not be happening. And then the other night, I had just begun to get comfy in bed (1am in the morning) when my cell phone starts blazing. I ignore it but it keeps ringing so now I'm thinking 'OMG it must be an emergency!' so I roll out of bed, holding my tummy, waddle as fast as I could to the cellphone which was like a football field away, pick it up (and I'm all out of breath) and my sister goes "I'm bored. What are you doing?" Are you freaking kidding me? If only I could've reached into the phone and shake her!!!

Ok so onwards to cards!!! :) I wanted to do a little matchy matchy trip set of mini cards and then I realized that I had the perfect stamp set for it. The Keep Cozy set which has the 3 snowmen on it. And the snowmen are a nice small size that fit the cards perfectly!

using the Keep Cozy stamp set

I even forced myself to pull out ye ol sewing machine and did some stitching. haha. I kept the colors kinda minimal and made use of the twine that's been gathering dust in the box. This little trio could be used as tags or I thought it would be cute as xmas place settings or hanging on the xmas tree. I'm giving this set to mom-in-law. I think she has a tendency to frame things that I give her but maybe she'll use these this year. haha.

Another project to show you tomorrow! In the meantime, keep on crafting my stamping friends! Hugs from Bean and me!

Today's question is: What is your favorite Christmas song?

Rudolph!!

Marie. You look so great... Bean is grown so much. Your cards are wonderful and I am glad that you show cased that set. It's one of the first I bought.

My all time Favorite Christmas song is: "WHITE CHRISTMAS" BY Bing Crosby. No matter where I am in the world for Christmas, that movie must be watched and that song must play on Christmas day... otherwise I just don't feel like it's Christmas.

Big Hugs to you...

You are looking totally radiant Marie, but are you sure there is only one bean in there and not two peas in a pod :) the little one has definitly had a growth spurt, lol!!

Your snowmen cards are so cute, frameable indeed. Omgosh, what song isn't just wonderful at Christmas time? "Do they know it's Christmas" by Band-Aid reminds me to be humble.
