You Noah what I've been Thinking About?

Hey hey! It's early in the morning and I'm listening to 'Hey Soul Sister' by Train. Oh drat, that would've been a good lyric contest. Haha. Oh and I hope you guys are checking the Farmers Market to make sure that you haven't missed of those discontinued goodies.

So as most of you know, we are settling into our little house and next to the master bedroom is this super cute room with a pretty little window, totally perfect for my craft room... but alas it will be transformed into bean's room instead. But once bean becomes a teen, I will banish him/her into the basement bedroom and reclaim that room for my own. *evil laugh* Me and mum-in-law have been trying to decide about themes. I originally wanted boat and ducks but wondered if it was too 'boyish'... we are going to try to keep bean's gender a surprise. Ray wanted Noah's Ark theme which I think you can never go with. I mean, a boat with cute animals... must have. And THEN I saw the new My Mind's Eye paper, Alphabet Soup with the animals.... it was like a sign sent from Mt. Sinai! So then I went on a rampage looking for quilts and bedding and found this...

and the paper below (cute for invites and wall art!)
I think the main bedding colors are neutral enough for either boy or girl and bean will appreciate the bold colors of the animals. What do yall think? Although I think it is kinda sad that babies grow up so fast that this beautiful bedding will be packed away soon enough. Oh well... at least when bean grows up I can say 'see how much I love you, you didn't have to sleep in a shoe box like mama.' ha j/k.

Be sure to drop by tomorrow for exciting must-sees! Now... like hungry lions, bean and I will go scavenge the fridge for food... again. Fridge, freezer, pantry... no place is safe from us.

Today's question is: Have you seen or used any new paper that we must know about?

I just got the Echo Park paper... Walk in the Park. Looove it. And Summertime. I think it's called Summertime. Anyway, super cute!

Oh, I just love that for the babies room. I think it is great that you are going to wait to find out if bean is a boy or a beanette...lol...That is exciting. I haven't been purchasing new paper lately, but I sure have seen some great one. Hugs, Lisa G

Very cute - Noah's Ark is always great for a child's room. And I personally can't wait to get my hands on the Graphic 45 Steampunk line.

Great baby stuff and paper. It is sad how quickly they grow out of all that cuteness though. I was at Micheal's the other week and saw tons of fabulous papers. I wanted it all but I fought the urge and purchased none. I have so much designer paper that I'm running out of space to stash it all! I would laugh about that but it is just too true.

Oh super cute! Noah's ark is classic and perfect for any gender! That paper is so sweet, cute animals are definitely a plus with babies. I know it's sad to pack the nursery sets away when they get older, but twin size bedding sets are super fun to design around too! ;)
I just played with Summertime too, but I went retro and ordered last year's Nutmeg. It's perfect for fall projects and cards. Oh, and I won brand new Basic Grey papers from a CHA contest!

Too funny, I just bought some of that MME paper and here it is, an inspiration for the bean. Love it. I think it will make a wonderful room for your new baby.

I actually haven't experimented with papers. I have been known to choose tissue boxes based on how well their pretty patterns might work on a future card, though!

Cute! You're right, you really can't go wrong with Noah's Ark!

I just saw a Crate Paper collection called Snow Day that's super cute. And I realized, early as it seems, I need to get started on Christmas cards!

Adorable nursery bedding! We decorated with Noah's Ark, and had no idea if we were having a boy or girl. With the neutral colors (and wonderful animals) it can easily go either way.
*The most recent paper I bought was Oliver and Olivia 6 x 6 pads by BG. :)

oooh the room is looking fantastic, perfect for a boy or girl.
I just got Memory Box papers and they are lush- not sure if they are new to the marker but they are new to me :0)

Oh, I LOVE the Noah's Ark theme. Very gender neutral, in my humble opinion. The paper that I had to have was the Olivia paper collection from Close to my Heart. So great for Autumn. Say "hi" to Bean for me. :D

I think Noah's Ark is a fantastic choice if you don't want to know the gender(personally, I had to find out with all(4) of them, lol), it perfect!
As for papers, I don't have acess to much where I live ,but but I just got DCWV stack called The Black Currant and it's fab...cream, black, and rasberry foil, just gorgeous!
Hope you and bean have a great day!

Picking out a theme for a baby room is so much fun!! I am sure your little Bean will love whatever you create for him :)
I haven't done anything crafty ALL summer -- just spent lazy days playing with the kids. They started back to school this week so after I get the house in order, I will have to start trying to create again.
