Some FYI and what's cooking in the studio

Greetings Friends! How is everyone doing? I hope well! We are really in the middle of summer now, I can physically feel the heat attacking me. Ugh... soooo if everything goes well we will be closing on the house by the end of this month!!! Keep yer fingers crossed. I'm really hoping for more room to spread out and actual space so I can craft.

In store news, I will be restocking on washi tape later this week as well as adding new washi designs in the coming weeks. I actually have some new ones that I haven't gotten a chance to take pictures of to put in the store. I hope everyone is trying these little notions and loving them! I use washi tape to decorate the edges and borders of my shelvings and copic cubbies and they are so cute! A great way to add a splash of color to white storage containers as well.

Also today I thought I'd show you what I've been designing in my 'studio' as of late. I'm thinking that since we have our collection of Creepers are growing so nicely, that we need more boys! So here is one that you'll be seeing soon enough.

Ray wants me to make sure that everyone knows this guy is playing the bass, not the guitar. LOL! Ummm sure Ray.

Another subject I'd like to touch on is our gallery. I know that some of you may be experiencing frustrating trouble with it with either your photos not showing up full view or even showing at all. We are having a hard time tracking down the bug since it's not consistent. I am dreading having to reset and do a brand new gallery since everyone's projects are already in the current gallery. I'm having another tech look into it this week and will let you know what happens. Thank you so much for your patience with us.

Another option is to create a brand new gallery with a built in forum and that will be taken into consideration as well.

Well that's enough for today! Stay cool and keep creating!

Today's question is: What is your favorite summer activity?

Reading in the shade with a glass of ice cold lemonade.

Okay, you stole my answer! I love sitting on my deck with a good book and an ice cold drink! It makes me wish I was out there right now but it's dark and I wouldn't be able to read anyway!!! *giggle*

Blessings,

oooh, I love this Creeper! I really need to own ALL of them, but in rubber... hint, hint. I am so excited for you and getting your house! That is so fantastic! So I have my first roll of Washi tape coming in the mail any day and I am super excited to use it! One of my favorite summer activities is to sit out on my front porch at the end of the day when the weather has cooled off, drink a glass of wine and read a good book. Such a great way to wind down at the end of the day!

A forum would be WONDERFUL! Then we could all chat and stuff as well and share our crafts. It would be a great addition for the TGF community.

Hmmm, I actually am not a big fan of summer (heat) but I do enjoy taking the kids to the local parks and splash pads, they have a blast :0)

OMG, Love the new upcomming creeper, will be anxious to see him in the store.

Favorite thing to do is to avoid the Summer Heat all together as it plays havoc on my breathing so crafting in the AC is my thing!!!

Hope you are able to figure out the problems with the gallery with minimal frustrations. All this technology is great when it works the way we want it!!! LOL

Have a great day and stay cool.

My favorite summer activity may just be anything besides work ;) If I had to pick one thing, it would be coloring (I am still in the learning process with my Copics) in the backyard while watching my dog sunbathe :)

I love the idea of a built in forum! I think that would be so much fun! Good luck with whatever you decide!

Tell Ray that I did notice it was a bass.

My favorite thing about summer is not having to shovel snow. Oh, and all the sunshine.

Great Work on the new Creeper - TOO cute. Also, Thank you for making the gallery issues a priority :) You are the bestest! As far as the question of the day - Mine is the same as yours. I thought it instantly in my thoughts about a book in the shade and ice tea! lol.

Bass player is Awesome! (and yes Ray, it's obviously a bass!) Could you do a Creeper sitting & playing ACOUSTICAL guitar? I can't ever find acoustical stuff unless it is a cowboy. My son plays Suzuki method and ROCKS!

One of my fav things to do in summer is sit on the back porch by the fire pit reading or just enjoying the Midnight Sun!

Marie, I love this bass player! He is so perfect to use of my nephews cards. I hope he is coming in rubber!? I know it is silly, but I still prefer the rubber to the diggi medium.

I love backyard barbeques and eating outside at night!

I will say a prayer for you that you will be homeowners at the end of the month! How exciting!

The built in forum would really be great. I love the idea. For summertime fun, I love to do gardening. I stay busy with nearly all perennials and flowering shrubs. We just bought a travel trailer and I expect will spend lots of time doing some traveling (camping). I have made sure I have room for my card creating materials and tools.
