ah, those look so good. I want some now!!

To answer the question, if I were to open my own store, I would sell...stamps. I love all stamps. I don't know why but I have a box full of stamps that have not been used. If money wasn't an issue, I would buy loads of stamps.

Have fun at CHA TGF staff.

Kristy, can't wait to see your online store.

xoxo :)

If i opened a 'Manic World of Mrs Weyremaster' Store, I'd sell TGF stamps (of course), Lots of gorgeous papers and pens, and glitter and sparkles, and lots of pretty pink things, oooh and i'd have a massive area to craft in it, and a chocolate counter selling hot chocolate, chocolates, chocolate cakes and cookies. I'd have an awesome sound system to play some rockin tunes, oh and a bit more chocolate, tehe!!

Have a great day all

That yogurt DOES look yummy! I so wish I could go to CHA!!! If I had my own store, I'd definitely sell cards. It is such a dream to be able to make a living off what you love. You are a lucky girl. :) Have fun this weekend!

mmmm...that yogurt looks yummy! My husband and I have always said that if we won the lotto we would open up a duel hobby/craft store - one where I could scrap and card make and he could have his airplanes and helicopters. It would have a built in daycare for the parents to bring kids to play. His side would have a race track for the remote cars and helicopter landing pad - and my side would have a huge area for cropping - and I would LOVE to sell TGF stamps in there too! ~ Ahhh to dream!

If I had my own store...wow, that's a toughie! I think I'd love to open a bakery. I LOVE cupcakes (you can tell that by my blog) and baking (as well as crafting) are therapeutic to me. I would also have a section for healthier/lower fat desserts too for those who want to stay fit but still have a treat.

Great logo! Of course an obvious answer for a store would be stamps but another would be bulk food supplies so people could save money to buy more stamps!

Stampi said...

wow super logo...seriously cute and catchy...way to go ...
If I opened a store I would sell stamps and tiny things...like minatures of all sorts of big things...lol..oh and candy.

~*Joni said...

Mmmm....looks so yummy! I have enabled all of my Hawaiian family members and friends to go there. My sister loves their stuff. :D
So excited for CHA Marie! Woot woot! I can't wait to see what you've left for us to play with while you are gone. You are so generous. ;)
If I were to open a store I would sell tons of desserts, organizational doo-dads, funky , baubled jewelry DP, copics and stamps! Wow, what a store that would be. Oh, and I would play 80s music. heehee!

beadz said...

my store would be full of stamps, and inks and papers, and well, you get the drift.

GobeaGirl said...

I love yogurt. I remember when there was frozen yogurt shop in every neighborhood...Yummmmm! If I was to open a store it would have to stock Copic markers in every color and style, and of course it would have all the paper and enbellies you would need. Half of my store would be devoted to all the Greeting farm stramps. Plus we would have a computer set up so that the customer would be able to purchase the digi's and have them email to there home. They would want these as we would have all of them colored and displayed!..lol...I love to dream

Nancy said...

I have big dreams for my own store! I would want a conference center for multiple types of crafting, and I would like to have a scrapbook, stamp, yarn and quilt shop all under one roof...separate of course but in the same place. Many hobbies are crossovers, and it would be fun to bring it all together for classes, weekend retreats, etc!

JenRaff said...

If I opened a business in the future, it would probably be a cupcake bakery. However, I don't bake or know the first thing about bakeries. It just seems like it would be quaint.

Sonya said...

Oh course this is a given. The 1st item I would order is TGF! My absolute favorite stamps in the world. Oh corse you know this because of my anal retentive jump in contacting you when I have a problem accessing your site!!! Your stamps are completely awesome and while due to physical problems my dream of opening my own shop has been iced. I am very close with the owners of Stamp Express and am helping them out with designing their weekly Make & Takes, teacheing classes and helping them get there store back on track. At any rate part of getting them back on track is bringing in only companies that no one in our current area is offering. They of course already carry TGF, which is where I 1st saw TGF and fell in love with TGF. TGF is of course one of the few companies they will be keeping over at the Stamp Express. Since my dream of opening my own shop will never see fruition, I decided to take my dreams in another direction. In addition to working with Stamp Express, I have started my own blog using the name I have registered for the last 12 years "Stamp Works" Extraordinary Paper Embellishments and I have gone back to draw on my roots from art class and have been working on designs to hopefully market to companies just like TGF (I hope). Ok so much for my blabbering I did answer the question for today I would order TGF 1st because they are absolutely innncredible and the best stamps in the world!

Awe your logo is really cute. Umm... I would like to have my own Hallmark shop actually but also sell other peoples card creations in it too. There is a Hallmark by us that also sells office supplies in it so I would rather sell craft supplies in mine!!!

Yum, I want some yogurt now. I love how the logo highlights Yo Mama! LOL!

If I had my own store I would sell TGF stamps!! And patterned papers and embellishments...I could be the Seattle TGF branch!! :)

That looks so yummy I so wish I could go! And the logo looks great :D
If I opened shop it would have to be a kind of craft cafe where you could buy your crafty goodies then sit and have a drink and a cake and make with them.

Hugs

Amy

Oh that looks so yummy. Why can't I have anything like that in my area. I would say that I would probably open a craft store. We have none in the area and it would really be a great thing. We also need a Target but a girl could only dream.

Callie said...

I'd honestly have a craft store... There isn't one around for miles and it's right up my alley!!

Erin said...

I would open a craft store so I get to talk about my favorite things all the time.

Lacey Stephens said...

That's an easy question...if I were going to have my own store, I would sell The Greeting Farm stamps!! Oh, that's right, I already do!! LOL

Of course, don't enter me into the drawing...I just had to respond anyway!

I've always want to open a victorian style tea shop. Have lunch specials, tea sandwiches, etc. Also have an area for handmade items to be sold.

Kimberly S said...

Awww...the logo is adorable! Goodness that looks so yumy too. lol hmmm...it would have to be a store that catered specifically to stampers since we have none in this area. :)

The Crafty Den said...

If I opened my own store it would be a craft and sweet treats store combined. You could stamp and craft and eating lovely chocolates and other sweet treats at the same time - bliss!

Amy's Stocking Stuffers said...

Easiest question so far! I would sell stocking stuffers, from inexpensive to high end. I would let men come in and just give a price range and put totether an amazing stocking for their wives or girlfriends. I would do color-themed stockings, romance themed stockings, kids' stockings, pets' stockings, etc. etc.

Yes, yes, yes! Yo-gurt Mama is my favorite yogurt shop. It reminds me of Penguin's yogurt a few years back. That is so cool that you designed the logo!

If I had the means to open a shop it would probably be stamps, paper, anime, and next door would be a bakery.. =)

I would sell crafting stuff - so that i could play all day!

Blankiefinder said...

Mmm, ice cream, oh that looks good!

If I were to open a store, I would sell kids running shoes, carrying a selection of specialty sizes!

Lisa Hjulberg said...

Cute logo Marie! I love the "Yo Mama" part... very cool! We have those type of yogurt shops around here, and YUM is right! In fact, I'm half tempted to swim out in the rain to get one!

Speaking of rain, are you going to let us buy the HG Rain digi soon? It's pouring in So Cal right now, which reminded me. Plus, I LOVE rain! No worries, it should clear up by the weekend, although it sounds like you're flying in what they expect will be the heaviest rainfall day... Thursday. At least it's not snow!

If I opened a store, it would definitely have to do with crafting. In fact, I've given some thought to selling kits. We'll see!

I'm looking forward to meeting you and Jess at CHA!

Hugs,
Lisa

I'd definately sell satin, paper and ribbon flowers... of all makes, colours and sizes... all for us card makers!

0oo I can't decide! I would just love to open a craft/book/coffee/photo/candle shop with a climbing wall & video games room(for the fella's & kids while us girlies shop!) Of course there would be cakes a plenty & chocolate to keep our strength up :D Until then I will have to make do with my dining table & lots & lots of storage boxes!
Thanks sooo much for the gorgeous digi stamp, I'm still shocked that I won one. Take care x

Well, this was an easy question being that my friend Lynda and I play this "if we had a store" game all the time. I even have the spot for it, the downstairs of my house (it used to be an apartment but is currently a big open space). ANYWAY, I would have everything for scrapbooking and cardmaking: papers, adhesives, tools, STAMPS, inks, embellishments...just EVERYTHING!!! Then, the best part would be that I could spend my day playing with it all!!! I guess I would have to take breaks to help customers but I'd figure it out!
It's never going to happen but it is my dream, we all need one!
Love reading what everyone has to say!
Katie

Jessica said...

hmmm...I think I'd sell stamps, lots and lots of stamps!!!

Lynda Nielsen said...

Oh Marie, Congratulations on doing the Logo... It's so very cool, now how could you temp us New Yorkers with a yogert shop in Hawaii ??? So cruel!!! LOL
I see that my friend Katie wrote here already what store "we" would like to have. But if you only knew how VERY necessary it would be in our area. Otherwise we would have to travel an hour just to shop supplies. Sooooo, we would have Papers, inks, tools, embellishments, Stamps, which of course includes TGF stamps. Then I would have Cricut & Cuttlebug stations so that customers could come and use them . They would have tables that they can craft at if they wanted to. Maybe even have a section of storage lockers with shelves that they could use. Seee??? How cool would that be? We could have regular daily scrapbooking or papercrafting parties. Just creativeness going on all the time! Think of the inspiration people would get from meeting, and seeing other peoples work.
Heck, I know several people in our area that would LOVE to have something like that. Ahhhhh, I love to dream!
Hugs,
Lynda
