Thursday Flashback

Hello! Today is a pretty mellow day for me. Doing some housekeeping on my computer. I really have to start printing these digital photos. They just add up to the hundreds. I'm making a mental note to myself to do some digital printing this weekend. Whilst shuffling through the files, I came upon these of my babies as babies. Boy do they grow up fast. Stewie and Bailey.

Here's another darling lineup for your inspiration today!

Nikki sent this one in and said it reminded her of Tom and Jerry! One of my fave shows as a kid! LOL. Coloring and shading on this is perfect!

These two are by Faith! Ok seriously, I loooove the soldier! Need more soldiers!!!

Heehee. Yes... soldier! Thanks Emily! Hoorah Easton!

This perfectly pretty card is by Caz. There is something about Caz's cards that always appeals to me. Colors? Layout? Must be everything. haha!

Another Miss Anya card, this one is by Dawn. A beautiful soft neutral palette. Very darling.

Mermaid by Kimmie! Lovely layering and paper choices! Love the little florals!

That's it for today! Check back tomorrow for a spectacular spotlight! Deadlines coming up are the Case of the Curious Card and our Spring Gardener DT Call. See you tomorrow!

Today's question is: It's the TGF barn dance, which Anya/Ian are you going to the dance with?

Hmmm I'm going to go with Hello Ian because he's a gentleman and a swell dresser! LOL! And it looks like he could dance a mad Foxtrot. heehee.

Middle of the Week

This month is just flying by! I can't believe its the 1st on Sunday! Wooo! You know what that means right? New releases! And new releases equals Fairies! I'm getting my packages on Friday so I'm mailing out the presales on Saturday morning. Also I am clearing out a little inventory to make room in my apartment because we are literally in a rubber maze. Hahaha. So if you check the 'clearance' section in the store, you will find Panda Friends and Dream Quotes. I've already cleared out Fancy Cakes and Cupcakes and will not be carrying those anymore, at least in the store but my carriers will.

Here are some sweet cards for today's lineup!

This delightful card is by Claudette. Looks like Miss Anya is shopping somewhere tropical and lovely!

A fluttery whimsical card by Randi! I can practically see the fairy dust flying off this card! So magical!

Another wonderful Miss Anya card by Lindsay. She is totally rockin' this set!

This is Cheryl's dainty little Angel Anya card! I love the ruffles on the bottom!

A cup of sunshine, courtesy of Mary! I'm usually not much of an orange person but I loooove this color!

I love this card by Mz Kel-Z! Ok whoever has this Hero set, we have to fill up his gallery because it's pretty lonely there. LOL. Support!

Wahhh I saw this one and I fell in love. Look at the pink sprinklies! By Wicked Pixie!

Great, now I'm craving cupcakes. I need to find a specialty cupcake shop. Mmmm... I'm considering having a tier of cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. Or maybe I'll have the wedding cake and then a tier of cupcakes on the side made of the same flavor. hehee.

Today's question is: What was the flavor of your wedding cake? (or what will it be if you're not married yet)

Ooh this is hard. I guess I would have to go cake tasting. I'm going for the red velvet cupcake though. Mmmm... cupcake.

The Case of the Curious Card

It's a wonderful Tuesday today. Hope all is well in stamping land! Last night I was going though Club Anya's Casing Challenge and was overwhelmed by the creativity of all the card casing. So an idea dawned on me an I thought hey that's fun! So I came up with this little thing:

By Kristine

WHAT IS IT?
Once upon a time, there was a little card that wanted to be cased. The little card was curious as how it would be cased and wanted nothing more than for all the stampers in TGF land to case him.

The Case of the Curious Card is a card case challenge, casing the above card!

HOW TO PLAY: Case the above card and submit it to the gallery, under Contest/Challenges. I will put a folder in there 'Case of the Curious Card'. In that folder, there is a sub-folder called CCC1.

JUDGE: The winner will be selected by Kristine, herself!

PRIZE: Your choice of a free stamp set!

DEADLINE:
Please turn in all your entries by Sunday March 1st. evening.

I think this is going to be very very fun!!! Enjoy your day! I'll be back tomorrow with more cards for our lineup!

Today's question is: What do you look for the most when deciding on paper?

Mostly colors. And I'm always looking for polka dot prints. haha. It's a complimentary design to everything!

Sketch for Candy Winner

Happy Monday stampers! How was your weekend? Mine was nice. Ray was gone all weekend to do some band recording so it was just me and the pups. So basically I just lounged and sketched all weekend which was awesome! Speaking of awesome, Wow, all the sketches were sweet!!! I love seeing the different interpretations of that simple little sketch. The outcomes are wondrous! So the lucky winner from the drawing is..........

Isabelle

Congrats Isabelle, please contact me and let me know if you'd like the Labels One or a stamp set.

This is also the last week for the Spring Gardner Call so if you are considering applying, please have your entry in by Saturday evening.

We have a cute little lineup today before I head off to the drawing board again. It appears I have double booked several projects and scrambling to get to them. If only I can clone a few of myself.

These sweet cutie cards are by none other than Elena of course! Beautifully done and very wonderful choice of paper.

This was harvested last night from the Gallery. Hello Ian looking his best by Kristine!

Another picking, this time of Princess Anya by Rosette! Pretty paper and pretty jewels on Anya!

OMGoodness look at this pooch! Cutest ever! Love the coloring, love the layout. Perfect! By Kathi and Roxy!

Ahhh the lovely work of Sandra! I would take this card over actual flowers. heehee. Pretty.

And last but def not least is Brandi's unicorn! I love the multi-colored mane and that bow on the tail is a cute touch!

You know I had a good question for today and now I don't remember what it is. Darn it. Oh well, I hope it'd come to me later. lol. Have a great day! BTW, limited Miss Anya is back in stock so grab'em before they disappear again. =)

Today's question is: Name 3 things that you'd grab if you had to leave your house in an emergency escape. (Kids and pets are safe so you don't have to worry about that. LOL.)

I would grab my laptop. That's the only thing I can think of. I mean, I would take the printer but that thing weighs a ton so that's out of the question. Yea, laptop, my purse, and a blanket.

Wow, will ya look at this little card of prettiness by Lindsay! Beautiful colors and beautiful layout! A cute little redhead for st. patty's day! And there's a load more on her blog so check it out!

Cards by stamping guru, Faith! Perfect, needless to say.

Ok I love all of Cheryl's bows but these one I really love! It's like 5 bows in one! Super cute layout too!

Miss Anya by Jenn M.! A very fresh and flowery card! And how huggable is that pup!

This little rocker is by Janet! She says Rockstar is her fave and this card definitely expresses that!

What a yummy little lineup today! Remember if you have a card for sketch, please upload by tomorrow night for the drawing. Besides that, have a safe and wonderful weekend!

Today's question is: What's your favorite cereal?

A perfect question since I'm here, munching on a bowl. haha. Mine would have to be Quaker Oh's. Mmmmm.... but my current bowl here is Honeynut Cheerios.
