Straight from the Gallery

Wow it's Thursday already! Hope everyone's had a fabulous week so far. Have you all been checking out the previews at Club Anya? The Design Team has been doing a fantastic job with the previews!!! So signed up for this Netflix thing, does anyone have that too? You get to rent like unlimited movie for about $8 a month. Anyway... they have this option will you download and watch certain movies on the computer.  Very snazzy. So anyway, I watched The Edge of Love and Rob Roy. The Edge of Love was... ok. I mean it was good I guess in a way but I was really annoyed by the flirting between Keira Knightly and bahhh that poet guy. The filmagraphy was very artsy and pretty. But seriously, have some boundaries people! I didn't like any of the characters at all... but I guess if I had to chose, it would be Cillian Murphy's character but he was kind of a like a stalker at the beginning. And then I spent yesterday watching Rob Roy, mainly because I was in the mood to watch a period piece. And also because it was set in Scotland and Liam Neeson  was very Jamie-esque. The movie wasn't an earth shattering film to me but it was a nice watch. Could have had more action and fighting I thought. Speaking of movies, has anyone seen P.S. I Love You? I haven't seen the movie but the trailer had me bawling like a babe.

Today I thought I'd pull out some splendid creations from the gallery.

Oh ~ another beautiful fairy!

As for a tearjerker ~ this is so embarrassing but... Armageddon when Bruce Willis & Liv Tyler are saying goodbye ~ as he makes the ultimate sacrifice for her & the planet... I've never been able to get thru that point with a dry eye...

☼ Cheryl* said...

Everything is so beautiful here!
A teak jerker movie.... I try and avoid them unless I am home alone (So I don't look like a wuss)!
The only one that I can think of is titanic. It's always sad :(

Caz said...

I loved "PS I Love You". I agree it is not as good as the book...but then most films aren't as they don't have the time to explore characters and give you a back story...

Good Weepies.....Beaches, Up Close & Personal...ok now I am on the spot I can't think of anymore...I am a fan of RomComs.

Oh and PS I Love You is ok. I bought it b/c it had Gerard Butler in it, and it's got some great parts and some weird parts so I'd give it like 6 stars outta 10 maybe. Let's face it, it's worth it just to watch Gerry!

WOW! I have to remember to upload into the gallery...I keep meaning to do it and get so caught up with the pretty stuff to look at! Beautiful lineup today!
Netflix is awesome, our turnaround time is one day so we can get a million movies a month. Haven't seen any of those movies yet, I'll put them on my queue. (I'm a Liam fanatic, you have to see Taken!)
I always cry at the end of Pay It Forward. :( Love the fairy!

Those are some gorgeous cards, I especially love the one by 3pageprincesses, very pretty! As for the movies, I can cry about the Disney classic Bambi so not much needed to make me cry. I'll go for Up Close and Personal, I remember walking out of the theater and I couldn't stop crying. I saw the new Disney Up the other day and it had the same effect on me but with being pregnant that could have a whole lot to do with it :).
