Digity Wednesday

Happy Pre-Thanksgiving yalls! Can you believe that right now I'm listening to Genie in a Bottle? LOL! Just trying to hold onto my youth here I guess. Oh I just realized that tomorrow is also Farmer's Market! Yayyy now there'll be something else going on besides the big game right? Farmers Market will open at 10:00am CST. Then I'll be making food to take to in-laws to Thanksgiving. Being asian, I guess it's assumed that I will bring some sort of an asian dish. haha. So this year I'm gonna make the ultimate asian platter of eggrolls and fried rice. Yup you heard me right. I, Marie, will be making use of the kitchen for actual food related purposes tomorrow. Must transport mounds of rubber to coffee table... oh and btw, I just discovered Vera Bradley from the numerous comments yesterday and checked it out. GORGEOUS STUFF!

Because tis the season to be thankful, look at what my creative team came up with! They made thankful layouts today! So sweeet!

Have a great day! See you tomorrow for Farmers Market!

Today's question is: What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Cooking and going over to the in-laws for some grub. =)

Well, for Thanksgiving I will probably be spending time with my family for the grub or camping inside Wal-mart for the black friday items that I want.

Gorgeous layouts. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here so I'll be doing nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm making some side dishes and we're all going over to a friends house. It's going to be a blast.

Maureen said...

Hahahah!! That spoof was pretty funny!

Both our families are coming to our house for lunch - it's going to be crazy!

My husband and I are actually going to cook the big meal all by ourselves. It's always been my MIL who does the cooking, but not this year. We're probably a couple of bumbling idiots and will make some mistakes, but it's high time we learned to do it on our own. I mean, we're in our early 50's now after all. Hahahaha!

We are having a little feast, just the two of us, and relaxing since it will be a race on Monday to Christmas Break!

Great layouts! My family and I will be going to my Uncle's for Thanksgiving, along with some other extended family. Besides eating some scruptious food, we will all be playing our annual "Mexican Bingo", and for $! We only play for five or ten cents a card, but everyone, even the kids have a great time.

Awesome layouts the DT did.

For Thanksgiving. In the afternoon, we'll bring our dogs with us to my mom and dad's to spend it with the family. Can't wait for the lumpia, egg rolls(I'm Filipina), rice, ham, brisket (we're in TX), and turkey, plus all the sides.

Then after that meal, we'll be going across town to my in-laws for a quieter version of the holiday with not near as much food.

Can't wait for Farmer's Market.

I could kick myself for missing the digis you had a couple of weeks ago that looked so much like the Twilight characters.

Happy Turkey Day!

Ooh the other DCT members did an awesome job!!!

This Thanksgiving will be quiet for us since we're leaving for Japan the next day. I should rephrase that, quiet and busy packing (^o^)

Can't wait for Farmers Market!

We don't do Thanksgiving officially in Australia - though I'm always thankful for my blessed life. :)

Lots of my family live in the US and I used to, so although it's not celebrated here in the Uk, I have my pumpkin pie filling tins here, ready to make some pies tonight. Yummy!

We don't celebrate Thanks giving! So we won't be doing anything special.

Be grateful "Genie in a Bottle" IS your youth! For some of us it happened a little later in life! ;-)

We are going to the home of one of my husband's work colleagues, as our respective families live over 1500 miles away in opposite directions.

That video is brilliant!!! Thanks for sharing, gave me a big smile :). We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in The Netherlands so it will just be a day like any other I guess. Oh and the digi layouts are gorgeous!

Thanksgiving is going to be very low key this year ~ finally a year without the additional stress of a long drive & hectic schedules...

Heidi Brawley said...

We will be going to my sister in laws house for supper. She cooks it every year cuz she is a gourmet cook. I don't enjoy it though because she cooks all foo foo instead of an original Thanksgiving meal. She ruins it by injecting wine into the turkey. She ruins the stuffing by always adding sausage and jalepenos to it! Gross!!! so I don't give filled up on this day anymore since I have to eat there with the rest of the family!! But I hope you will enjoy yours! I would love to be eating egg rolls and rice instead any day!!!! Hugs, Heidi
