Our First Digital Creative Team!

Hello hello! Ok so madness aside, FINALLY today we are announcing our very first digital creative team!!! A few weeks ago I announced that we were teaming up with an awesome online digital scrapbooking website, which I can now reveal! Scrapblog is an interactive online site for digi scrappers! Even if you've never digi-scrapped in your life, they make it super fun and easy. I encourage you to check them out. We are still in the process of uploading elements and getting the backend stuff done so TGF is not officially on there yet but we shall be in the upcoming weeks!

So today I would like to introduce to you our DCT members! They are fabulous and excited and I know that they are just going to blow you all way with their digital talents! And awayyyyy we go!

Jacilynn Cox

I started scrapbooking 5 years ago, when my daughter was born. Last year I decided to take on digital scrapbooking and learn my way around Photoshop. Since I haven't been able to decide on traditional or digital scrapbooking, I do both. I love making cards, cooking, reading, and being silly with my sweet Husband and 2 kids.

Claudette San Pedro
http://islandergirlstampin.blogspot.com/

I have been crafting off and on since High School, but wasn't serious until 2001 when I discovered Stampin' UP! From there, my hobby took off to a whole new level! Digital scrapping did not happen until 2004 and once I got hooked I never looked back! I do however still incorporate a bit of traditional scrapbooking but mostly my LOs are 90% digital!

I currently live on the beautiful Island of Oahu, Hawaii. I say currently because I am married to my very supportive husband Miguel for 8 years who is in the Navy. To my dismay, Hawaii will not be my permanent home. I will say so far this has been one of my favorite states to live! And will truly miss it and the friends I have formed during my time here! It is because of them I found TGF!

It is such an honor to have been selected by the TGF family and can't wait to get started! Hope everyone gets a little something out of my creations as I do from all of you! Aloha!

Hi there! My name is JoAnn but you can all call me Jo! I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of TGF's Digital Creative Team! (Ok, enough with the exclamation points, right? But now you can tell how I excited I really am! *lol*) I've been married to my high school sweetheart Carl for 5 years but we've been together for over 14! We have an energetic 2 1/2 year old Jonah and Malia who is a little over 5 months (but we swear she thinks she's 7 months by her size and personality! *lol*). I work as a full-time pediatric nurse and when I'm not working, being a wifey, or being a mommy, I try to steal time and do something creative everyday. I've been a scrapbooker for a little over 10 years and my love for that hobby has evolved into a love for digital scrapbooking and a love for cardmaking. I just love papercrafting and I love sharing my work with the world. :) I'm super honored to be a part of TGF's first Digital Creative Team. This is going to be a great ride!

Today's question is:
What's the most common thing you see hanging on car rearview mirrors?

LOL! I thought of this question as I was walking through the parking lot to get my mail. I'm going to have to say it's a tie between graduation cap tassels and those rainbow colored flower leis.

Nothing. Finns don't usually hang anything on their rear view mirrors. I'm not at all familiar with digital scrapping so I'm looking forward to seeing the new team's projects.

Hi Hi,

Congratz to the Digital Creative Team!! I have been digital scrapbooking in my beginning of scrapbooking. It sure is a lot of fun and very easy!!

In holland you see verry often the truckdrivers with name badges in their trucks. But here we also see tiny babyshoes,Bra's and even the fluffy dices..(the last one hanging around in my car!!)

Hug,
Patricia

Congrats to the new girls! Hmmm...I haven't really notice what everyone is hanging there. But I do hang my parking permit there. It's a must for us at work. We will get ticketed (a parking ticket) for not having it there. YEs, a real parking ticket in my office's parking garage.

Marianne said...

I will say stuffed dice made out of faux fur!

Love the new Digital Team!!

In Australia we also have a lot of rosaries beads and decorative crystals.

Great new DCT look forward to seeing their work.
In England it would probably be air fresheners in the shape of a tree. But I haven't really taken much notice. Of course I will be looking at every car now!!!!!

Exciting with digiscrapping - never done that before, so looking forward to check it out.

In Norway the most common thing to spot in rearview mirrors must be car-fresheners or fluffy dices.

Maureen said...

Congrats to the new team!

We don't see anything here - you're not allowed to have stuff hanging from the rear view mirror.

Nunt said...

Congratulations for the team!

I must admit, I don't really look into cars like that :D I don't care about cars, I don't drive one and don't own one, so they kinda pass me by without a glance :)

Claireabelle said...

Usually its an airfreshenr! How boring lol

I have a stuffed penguin hanging from mine :oP

Congrats to the digital design team! cant wait to see more of their work

I see a lot of leis, & parking passes. I've got a multitude of different cherry air freshners. (I drive a red Cavalier....I'm pretty sure at least half of the people my age in this place drive the same thing!)

Congrats on the new team! How exciting :)

Car mirrors... air fresheners and parking passes. Hey, maybe they should make scented parking passes!

WOWEE... What a "Creative Team" you have here. Congratulations Girls!!! =)
So Exciting, I can't wait to see what you create.... =)

Oh, I almost forgot to answer the question. Well I can't judge by going through a parking lot, but I swear the people around here all seem to have some trinket, a whistle on a lanyard, OR a tree shaped air freshener. LOL

Can you tell I spend too much time near schools and athletic events to be seeing Whistles on Lanyards! LOL

Hugs,
Lynda =)

Faerielore said...

ITS ME YAY !!!!! oh im so excited hmmmm which stamps to choose !!!!!

looking forward to seeing the digiscrap pages. I dont hang anything off my mirror but in england the trend if to hang either baby shoes, fluffy dice or rosemary beads.

~*Joni said...

Oh awesome! I hope to learn more about digi scrapping through these girls. I worked with Jacilynn before on a DT - she is awesome! *waving at JC!*
COngrats on this new venture Marie! It is my goal to get 14 years of kids' pictures scrapped. Hahaha, that's so impossibly funny.

It's illegal to have dangling stuff from the mirror here in VA but I do see those CDs with the country's name on it. I used to have my Hawaiian warrior helmet on there and whenever someone saw it, we'd all do the Hawaii shaka to acknowledge each other. It's a little bit more legit than a rainbow lei. ;)

the paper bug said...

Congrats and welcome DCT members!

Congrats to the ASADG winner too!

Believe it or not, when I see something hanging from someone's rearview mirror, it's usually a whole bunch of stuff. It's like they started hanging something and couldn't stop adding to it! It think it's just a matter of time before their mirror falls off... ;)

Rachel said...

Honestly, I don't see much any more, mainly just parking passes.

I have an old silver 4 leaf clover on mine ;0)

Down here in Miami, it is rosaries hanging on the rearview mirrors or parking tags, since parking is SO expensive here.

Peggy said...

Congratulations to the new digital design team!! I have looked at each of their blogs. Awesome things coming our way!!
Hanging from the mirror....I see my sisters car all the time. She hangs her necklaces she wears to work off the mirror. Other than that it is the usual air freshner of crystals that blind you if the sun is shining on them in the car in front of you :)

Mandi said...

Congrats to the new Digital Creative Team. Beads, parking permits, and air fresheners tend to be the most common thing you see around here.

Congrats to the new team!! How fun!

The thing that most people in TN have over their mirror would be their tassle or air freshener....with the occasional dream catcher. Me? I have nothing. Too distracting. ;)

I would have to say parking passes for the city workers and college students.
