Farm Fresh Friday

Good Friday friends! Another Friday, another challenge, another weekend coming up. =) I am going to try to not do any work this weekend. Ha! Actually I think I have to rearrange and clear out my rubber area for new rubber. Probably try to see what else I need to put on clearance to make room for the monster load that's coming. Today is a "family day" hee at AViano AB so everyone is off, so I can get crafty! I love this weeks sketch! I make a killer sausage skillet(italian sausage, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and more; over rice). It's a recipe I took and changed up to suit my family's tastes and they love it.

lol that is soo funny that is my signature dish as well chicken tortilla soup lol my sis my mom my aunt and my best friend all make it now too they loved it sooo much we should so swap recipe's! lol (which means I'd actually have to write one down lol)

Let's see, I make a really good(according to my Husband;) ) Mexican Rice,and together we make a dish call stuffed Riggatoni...it is stuffed with a chicken mouse and then has a white sauce with fontina cheese that it is simmered in! Really Good!

Gorgeous cards again today.... Each day they get better and better! Wow!

Well I can't give a specific name to my recipe, but I can tell you that I make a chicken bake awesome, it's always requested... But I try not to make it too often or else it might lose it's "Wow" affect. It's Chicken breast rolled in bread crumbs, fried a little, and then baked in heavy cream. YUM!

Okay, I totally ace chicken enchiladas. Even my hispanic friends want the recipe. haha! I say we all get together at the farm for some Mexican food. ;)

What a great card from this past weeks sketch. Beautiful. I make a really good spaghetti. My spaghetti sauce is homemade. I get compliments on it every time I serve it and there is always very little left to freeze. My sister even asks for me to make my sauce so she can use it in her lasagna that she makes. :) And I also make a really good hash brown casserole that is always requested it seems for family get togethers and potlucks.

My speciality dish would have to be either my Broccoli & Stilton Soup, Pasta with Cream & Cheese Sauce, Tiramisu or my secret recipe 'Beet That Chocolate Cake'!!! (Clue in the 'Beet'!)
As you can probably tell I love cooking almost as much as crafting!

I hate cooking and I only do it when I absolutely have to. So, if I have to pick something, my husband and daughter love my fried chicken and I am known for my deviled eggs that I bring to all the family dinners.

Would love your recipe for that soup - its one of my faves at a restaurant that was in the town where I used to work. I don't work there anymore, which means no soup.

I don't know whether i counts but my favourite make at the moment is chocolate and pistachio fudge (Nigella's recipe!). But if that doesn't count I really like my lamb tagine - chuck it in the slow cooker first thing and then it's ready at dinner time.

I make a really good whole chicken in the slow cooker. And the best thing is, I make chicken soup AND chicken stock the next day. We probably get something like a dozen meals out of that chicken, one way or another!

Gosh, I don't know if I can think of a dish I make well! The only thing I can think of was some chicken and rice I threw together one day in the crockpot and it ended up tasting pretty darn good!

I cant cook - well not well, but i make a mean rue sauce so my best dishes are lasagne and cauliflower cheese - where the rue really makes or breaks the dish!
