A Thank You to our Soldiers

Hi Stampers. Just a reminder to send in your Fashion Anya entries tonight! Just upload them into the Contest Gallery titled Anya Fashion show.

Yesterday Ray helped design a special stamp set with me. And I'd like to show you what we did. We wanted to make a set to honor and celebrate our brave soldiers overseas. We called this set Hero. I will be producing this set soon and as a token of appreciation to our heroes overseas, I'd like to offer this set free to anyone who has a dad, brother, sister, husband, son, or daughter who is active in our military. So if you are a military mom or wife or daughter, send in photo of your soldier and address and I'll ship this set out to you once it gets produced. (This is a limited time offer. Ends Thursday Jan. 15th since that is the day I order them). And yes they will be available to the public as well.

So I decide I'll blog Mon-Fri and break on the weekend and focus on designs. That's good because I'll get to have more goodies to show you! Have a great Sunday!

love,
Marie

Marie! You are very kind and thoughful person! I don't have anybody in military from my family, but I am very thankful to all the families who has a soldier!

How generous! My Brother is in the military... can we send a donation or maybe make cards for our heros to send them to spread the love? This is just so wonderful!!!

Marie, this is a fabulous set and I think it's great of you to offer it free to those who have an immediate family member actively serving. My father was a 20yr career Navy man and all of his brothers served in various branches of the military, one died in WWII. My grandfather served in WWI. I love anything that recognizes appreciation to the sacrifice given daily by our servicemen and their families. I'm sure this will be a big seller for you so make sure you have lots produced!

This is amazing, Marie! Will we be able to buy this set, too, as I have a close cousin who just deployed to Iraq on Jan. 1st, just a few days ago. I would love to get one for me and also give one to my cousin's wife so her and the kids can make cards for him. WONDERFUL idea.

First off - that is SO Awesome that you will do this for our military families {{{HUGS}}} and more {{{HUGS}}} - and I'm also SUPER glad this will be available to the public - that has got to be one of the CUTEST soldiers I've ever seen *wink*

How wonderful Marie! I wish you would set up a pre-order along with those military family people. I have six uncles who all served but noone is active duty anymore.

I think this set will be a great opportunity for many of us to send cards for soldiers. I know I will!

You're going to get swamped with this one!

Cute set! My DH is a veteran and we have a nephew who has served two tours in Iraq and is possibly going back for a third tour.

I volunteer for Cards for Heroes. (www.cardsforheroes.org). We collect handmade greeting cards from crafters around the country and box them up for the troops. Check out our website if you are interested in supporting our troops with cards they can mail home to their families.

this is a fantastic thing you are doing Marie!!!! And the stamp set is adorable too!

i think this is an awesome thing you are doing! my brother was a marine for 5 years - no longer active. I always thought the military had so much b/c of the government, but sadly they don't have a lot of the things that people think are provided for them.
This is a wonderful way to honor the families that serve right along with their loved one. May God bless you infinitely for your genorosity

Hi If it is not to late I would like to add one more person to this list. She is a soldier herself and she has been sick so unable to get to you.

She is a soldier in Alexandira Virginia and her Name is Kristin Beuter.

Her blog is Mindless Creativity. If it is not to late as it is still Thursday I will get her addy and send it to you.

She is a wonderful stamper and she would love to have this set in Honor of her service to our Country. She has already been a soldier for 14 years.
