Happy Monday and little news

Hi everyone! I guess this is another start of a full week. Hopefully this will be an exciting one! First off a little update on Pink Poison. I am currently in the process of a name change in the company. The official name won't be released until probably sometime in November after everything clears and all those legalities. Ugh. BUT just wanted to give you a heads up. If you are curious to as why I am not keeping Pink Poison, it is because there are too many entities with that name and then a few people that I've emailed thought that Pink Poison was a porn site. Yep, that's when I knew I had to change. LOL. But I hope you will all like the new name when it comes out.

Onto today's card viewing pleasure! First off, I want to show you a card by one of our very own readers, Kim Howard (Basement Stamper)! All I have to say is: LOVE the color scheme, love the DP, and love love love the layout! Everyone really loves the Best Mates set.

Pam sent me these beyouuuutiful cards yesterday and I just want to frame them and put them on my empty walls. This first one is from the Best Mates set as well. I love how she used the star as a back image and then the quote in the front. And gosh that little ship embellishment is darling!

Another cute one- this time from the Cup of Stuff set! Beautiful coloring and the bow is fabulous!

Ok I have to admit, I am in love with this Ian. He is awesome awesome awesome! He's fun to color and so cuuuute! Ok so I'm looking at my stamp calendar and I probably can't have Ian available until late November...... But I'm going to try to move some projects around and see if I can squeeze him in a little earlier because he is just too cute!!!!

Have a great Monday friends!

Today's question is: Flowers, chocolate,or jewelry?

Flowers! When I was younger I didn't care much for them but now I love to get them. It's such a classic romantic gesture. And you know I'm a sucker for mushiness. hahaha.

Beautiful cards as always. I'm a flower girl as well. I love it when dear hubby randomly brings flowers home. I especially love it when I get tulips!!!!

Pam's samples are awesome and Ian is adorable!!! BTW- the DP is actually 2 different stamps that I used on white cardstock :-) Easy to do, and looks great!

Wow such pretty cards!!! Love all of them! Can someone dish on where Icould find that patterned paper from the best Mates set? My little guys would go crazy over that!!!

as for today's question, I'm gonna have to say jewelry. Flowers are beautiful and I love to get them for no reason, but they die :( Chocolate is yummy and I also LOVE to get that, but it goes right to the hips LOL! I'm a sucker for all things blingy :)

Lovely cards! My husband is super excited about Ian so hopefully you'll be able to re-arrange some stuff. =)

I used to hate getting flowers because they die so quickly, so I asked my husband to either do just single flowers (easier to part with) or get me Prima flowers for scrapbooking/card making! LOL! We both win.

Thanks for the update! I'll be sure to update my blog when you make the change. Can I say all three?? Hubby will surprise me with either chocolates (Cadbury) or flowers from time to time, but jewelry is usually left to VERY special occasions! I love getting all of them! hahhaha

ok, I am going to say Jewelry: I am not a huge chocolate person and flowers wilt/die.

Love all the cards!! I'm excited to hear the new name... I had to giggle about the porn site comment! I used to have my own business, and there is sooooo much that goes into picking a name. It sure is a lot harder than it sounds!

I'm definitely a flower gal. I love the life they bring into the house. I have too much jewelry already. I did convince dh to buy potted plants instead of cut flowers so I can keep them much longer!!
hugs, Jami

Lotsa great cards to look at everyday at your blog...and today is no exception! Love 'em all!! I have to agree, Ian totally rocks. Waiting is soooo hard, we need him now! You lucky duck, you get to color him even before he becomes a stamp! New name? I'm sure it's something fun and clever (just like you!). Chocolate wins for me every time, no contest :)

Adorable cards! And yes...move Ian's release up...please! I think he will be perfect for X-mas! Flowers for sure - my grandmother called them nature's smile and I love to think of them as that.
