Happy Friday!!!

Wooo another week has come to a close. I just realized that I don't do much on a Friday. I need to get some bitten by some sort of a social bug or something. The other day I placed a huge order on Stampin' Up supplies so I am eagerly waiting for them to arrive so I can start some Christmas samples!!!

Let's close this week with a Splendid Give-A-Way shall we? Let's see.... which stamp set shall we do? Do-di-dooo.... ok got it. This is Stewie's fave set! This Home Sweet Home will be released Nov. 1st but one lucky person will get it early. I'll select one reader from today's comments. Winner will be announced tomorrow!

Also here are some lovely cards from Nancy and her daughter! I really wanted to show off this first photo which uses the Best Mates set. It is absolute brilliant!

I love the clean crisp layout of Nancy's Fancy Fleurs cards. Looks really fresh!

And here are two cards from Cup of Stuff by Nancy and Chat! I love this little mouse. It always looks so happy like it's playing hide-n-seek. Lol.

That's it for today. I hope you all have a splendid Friday. As for me, I've non-stamping work to do and then I'm going down to the Farmer's Market for some fresh fish and lunch ideas. See you tomorrow!

Today's question is: Were you a Daddy's Girl or Mommy's Helper?

I think I might have been Daddy's Girl. I wanted to be just like my dad when I grew up. I love my mom to bits but we never really had a connection. My mom says that my personality is like my dad. heehee.

Holy Wow, awesome cards. I agree with your love for Nancy's Fancy's, just beautiful! I was definately a Mommy's Helper. I remember sitting at the table while she would sew and we would just chat, or snipping green beans and other fruits and veggies while we did all the canning. I still got in plenty of boy fun time with basketball and football. Since I was the only girl in the family & neighborhood I had to adapt. So a Mommy's girl by day and a tom-boy by nessecity, LOL! So count me in for this totally awesome set! Thanks!

Great cards! And that stamp set is super cute!! I have a friend who owns a Westie named Kiwi and he looks just like that one sitting next to Stewie! :D I was definitely a mummy's little helper! My mum was a single mother and deaf and raised my brother and I so I helped her as much as any little kid could. :D

(please don't count this post in the drawing.)

I was a born a Daddy's Girl and have always been a tomboy. However, my Mama is my best friend, so things are a little more "evened" out then they used to be. I'm not sure I'd make it if my parents and I weren't as close as we are.

I'm definitely a daddy's girl and probably will be always. If Daddy said he liked, I had to have it. Love the inspiration.

I was a daddy's girl - well, the only girl in our family! LOL

My dad used to walk to the Pike Place Market and bring me flowers every Friday - even though my mom was allergic to them - I loved them!!

I think he did most anything I ever wanted or asked...now that's a great dad! My mom pretty much did the same, but she was allergic to all the things I loved... :(

I TRIED to help her though! LOL

SusanR said...

I was a little of both :) I helped my mom all the time but I definitely had dad wrapped around my little finger when it came in handy! I LOVE the puppy set! It is absolutely adorable - thanks Stewie for your inspiration!!!!!
